The name of the race was definitely an appropriate one. Short race on a Friday-end of the week rush hour traffic. Add 13 checkpoints and you get a dangerous race through NYC, unless you knew what you were doing. Race started in Tompkins square park and it finished at Lakeside Lounge. The riders basically did a big square around midtown rush hour get out the city traffic. Crihs had a early lead but it was quickly taken away by Dan, Raf, Yatika, Lincoln, Kennedy, and JT. After the Sex Museum, that had just enough of a lead to hold it. It was a very fast race with the riders breathing on each others backs. This was the first race in NYC. 5 empire riders rode the race and they all finished in the top 10.
