Hand delivery…

March 18th, 2009

Look what Ed Wonka got hand delivered to him this week…

GOrilla bikes from Switzerland gave Ed this awesome looking trick-track bike for Wonka to ride on. I saw him yesterday and the bike looks pretty sweet and even got a chance to ride it. The bike is hand-built by Ciocc from Italy. I also ran into a couple of Empire riders hanging out with and and Dan who was on his way home from work.

Looking forward to the awesome weather.

The link to the Ciöcc website is correct, but the Ciöcc that builds for us has got nothing to do with this company. Giovanni Pelizzoli, aka Ciöcc, sold his brand 1980 to these investors that still today own the rights to this brand. Ciöcc, the real one, our man, worked there until 1983 and then left and started his own framebuilding business again. The Ciöcc who built the San Cristobal and all the other unforgotten bikes with that cool logo, is today building the frames for Gorilla. More about this story shortly. Chears, Mr. Silverback

Sorry about the mix-up Thomas. Thanks for clearing that up.
