Empire in San Francisco

Ed wheelie on 5th

People will argue forever about where and when track bikes first took to the streets, but it’s beyond dispute that the first professionally-done track bike video came from San Francisco. So I’m super stoked with a decent amount of trepidation mixed in that the BFF teaser is in San Francisco’s Saturday program 7. Lucas Brunelle’s and Cinecycle’s latest are in the same program, so it’s guaranteed awesome. Empire is at the top of the schedule, so get there on time. And buy tickets in advance!

I know I’m a few days late on posting this, but Ray Jones has been coming out to the Peel Sessions for over a year now taking pictures and interviewing people. Two weeks ago, he came by and did an audio interview at my apartment. When I woke up Saturday morning, I was stoked to see the piece had been published! Thanks so much Ray and the NYTimes!

You can read the article here and watch the audio slideshow here!

Peel Sessions last night ruled. After making a bank out of some palettes and plywood, Wonka made a massive wedge. We then proceeded to kill it. Wonka 180′d and 3 hopped it and almost pulled a tuck-no-hand! Big up Andy T for the pics!
