Wilis first thought he might be bi-coastal when he moved to Philadelphia from his home town of Seattle. After living in Brooklyn for over a year there’s no denying it. He’s been a bike racer, rider and messenger the entire time, accumulating a surprising number of bikes for someone so transient. Presently his stable includes a Daccordi funny bike, a Brooklyn Machine Works Gangsta Track, a Surly Steamroller, a Marinoni Pista, and a Schwinn Apple Crate with more acquisitions planned for 2009. Happily his roommates are riders too so the battles are over parking, not why he has so many rides.

In between his time on two wheels Wilis digs on street art, photography, music, and going to shows concerning all of that with friends.
